Fenerbahçe manager Christoph Daum spoke to FB TV's Fatih Demirkol in this week's Technical Analysis show and stated that despite experiencing psychological problems and injuries, his players had fought well against Antalyaspor. "Our targets are now clear. We want to win the Gençlerbirliği game and move a step closer to our goal of winning the Turkcell Süper Lig championship," said Christoph Daum.

Dutch manager Guus Hiddink will be presented to the media as the next Milli Takım head coach in a press conference in Istanbul next Monday. TFF President Mahmut Özgener will also sit alongside the Dutch coach in Monday's press conference. It's safe to say that after Wednesday's rescheduled fixtures, the title race at the top of the Turkcell Süper Lig has turned into a true dog eat dog competition. Bursaspor and Beşiktaş have moved up the league standings, collecting confident wins against Kasımpaşa and IBBSpor. The Yellow Canaries continued their preparations for this weekend's Gençlerbirliği game with a double practice on Wednesday. Good news came from Fenerbahçe's injured players, as Özer Hurmacı joined his team mates in regular practice. It was also reported that Uğur Boral will begin sprints in two weeks' time. In the meantime, defenders Gökhan Gönül, Diego Lugano and Gökçek Vederson sat out in today's practice.

The Yellow Canaries were back on the training ground on Monday morning, after their 1-0 victory over Antalyaspor. While players involved in last night's Antalyaspor match conducted a regeneration practice inside the facilities, the rest of the squad began preparing for next weekend's Gençlerbirliği fixture. André Santos, Cristian Baroni and Emre Belözoğlu were picked as last night's 'Men of the Match', while the squad also celebrated André's 27th birthday.
Our Condolences to the Victims of the Elazığ Earthquake

Today the city of Elazığ woke up to a 6.0 magnitude earthquake that took away 57 lives. Over 50 people were also injured during the quake that hit the Eastern Turkish province at 04:32 AM, earlier this morning. Rescue efforts have now ended, however aid workers are still trying to recover the rural villages that were heavily effected by the earthquake.
Tests Negative on Vederson After Suffering Concussion

Medical tests on Gökçek Vederson came back negative Sunday night, according to reports out of Istanbul. The Fenerbahçe defender suffered a concussion in the team's win over Antalyaspor Sunday, and Vederson was taken to a hospital after leaving the game early. Test results have indicated no serious injury to the Brazilian-born star, however.
