Fenerbahçe Worldwide was featured in one of Norway's largest newspapers earlier this week, following the Turkcell Süper Lig season finale. The newspaper did a special online feature on Fenerbahçe Worldwide readers Morten Galåsen and Kim Kristiansen, as well as FBWW editor Mehmet Pozam.
Dagbladet, the second-largest newspaper in Norway, did a special online feature on Fenerbahçe Worldwide readers Morten Galåsen and Kim Kristiansen and their recent trip to Istanbul. The Norwegian Fenerbahçe supporters recently traveled to Istanbul for the Canaries' matches against Ankaragücü and the season finale against Trabzonspor.
While in Istanbul, the two met up with Fenerbahçe Worldwide editor Mehmet Pozam, who accompanied them to both matches. In addition to taking the train to Ankara, the three were in the stadium for the Turkcell Süper Lig final match against Trabzonspor.
For Morten and Kim, it was their third trip to Istanbul to see Fenerbahçe play in just over a year. In addition to the final two games, the duo were in attendance for the Sivasspor match last season, then witnessed the world's biggest derby against Galatasaray at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium in October.
Morten, from Oslo, and Kim, from nearby Fjellhamar, were also featured on Fenerbahçe TV during their most recent trip. The two, along with Mehmet Pozam, were interviewed by our good friends Kıvanç Özkök and İpek Ustaoğlu for a live broadcast just before the match against Trabzonspor.
The two have been Fenerbahçe fans for more than two years, with Morten stating that his first Fener match was the Sevilla away match two seasons ago. That match was part of Fener's historic UEFA Champions League run that saw the team finish as quarterfinalists in the competition.
Fenerbahçe Worldwide is proud to have Morten Galåsen and Kim Kristiansen as part of our family, and we are eagerly anticipating their next trip to Istanbul. Their support is continued evidence that Fenerbahçe is indeed the world's greatest club.
