For the third time since 2010, Fenerbahçe Worldwide has been featured on BBC World Service Radio. Founder Nathan L. Redd did an interview for 'The World Today' which aired Monday morning on the global news network. Redd discussed the recent match-fixing allegations in Turkish football, with an emphasis on the claims against Fenerbahçe.
Fenerbahçe Worldwide's Nathan L. Redd was interviewed on BBC World Service Radio to discuss the on-going match-fixing scandal in Turkish football. Redd was asked about the current feelings among Fenerbahçe fans, as well as the possible scenarios the club could face after the findings are released. Lawrence Pollard, host of 'The World Today,' also asked the Fenerbahçe Worldwide founder about the political implications in Turkey of the current allegations.
The British Broadcasting Corporation World Service is one of the largest international broadcasters in the world, currently broadcasting in 32 languages around the globe. In June 2009, the BBC reported that World Service's average weekly audience had reached 188 million people.
The appearance is the third for Fenerbahçe Worldwide since May 2010. Executive Editor Mehmet Pozam appeared twice on the network last year to discuss Turkey's bid to host Euro 2016.
